CT Practice

Today we got a call from the radiology department at UC Davis to say that if Drew was able to remain still for the CT he would not have to be put under at all! Also, they would be able to just squeeze us in in the morning so Drew would not have to be hungry all day. So we are going to try it out at 9:00 in the morning. Just in case he can't be still enough to get a clear picture, he still has to fast as if he is going to get anesthesia and we would keep our original appointment at 2:30. Needless to say, we would all like to avoid the trauma of having to get poked so Drew and I were practicing being still for the CT scan. I rigged up a pseudo CT tray and head restraint like he will be seeing and he did great! Hopefully this will make it easier for him tomorrow.
