Today Ava had her 2-year check-up. So I saw the doctor at 5:30 last night and again at 8:30 this morning. I had Drew with me and Dr. Bullen said that Drew looked better and asked how our night was. It was fine, but Drew was very hot with a fever between 101 and 103 most of the night even with motrin. He said I could give Drew a little more motrin to try to keep his fever down. So far all his tests look clear, so that is good.
Ava is doing great! She is still in the 10th percentile for weight at a whopping 23 pounds 6 ounces. Her height is 34.5 inches at63%, and her head is 48.5 cm at 76%. The doctor said she is sticking to her curve and she is fine, just small. They had to give her one shot and she cried when they gave it to her, but then calmed down when she got her prize of m&ms. She said "I so brave!" I guess she hears that a lot around here. But, once she got in the car, she lost it! She cried for twenty minutes the whole way home. It was hard to feel sorry for her when Drew has to go through much worse all the time. My goodness, it was just one shot! But I gave her some tylenol and she calmed down enough to go to gymboree. Now we are all just trying to beat the heat (and that fever) by playing outside in the pool, sprinkler and water table.

I hope Drew starts feeling better.
And Miss PETITE Ava...those numbers are so funny...she's tall, skinny, with big brains!!! PERFECT!
HOpe you're enjoying the outdoors...and the kids are behaving!
Ava is going to be a little peanut...nothing wrong with that!
I'll keep praying that the fever goes away quickly. You guys deserve some worry-free days leading up to the Big day!
xoxoxo
Wow...Ava isn't that much bigger than Arianna. They are just going to be petite and there is nothing wrong with that!
I hope Drew starts feeling better. I'm sure he enjoyed some water time.
