Happy Birthday Drew!

Today is Drew's 7th birthday.

Seven seems so old. He is really growing up right before our eyes.

The awesome privilege and responsiblity of raising this child has been something I've been thinking about lately. I am shaping a person. He is watching me, listening to the words I say, seeing how I interact with people. My every action is a lesson to him in how to behave, how to love. That is a huge responsibility. I thank God that he has equipped me to be a mother to Drew. That He chose me for Drew and Drew for me. That He has gifted me this miracle child who makes me want to be a better person, who has taught me more than I could ever hope to teach him.

Happy Birthday my sweet boy. I am so very proud of you. I know God has great plans for your life.

The words of this song from Sidewalk Prophets remind me of you:
Be strong in the Lord and,
Never give up hope,
You're going to do great things,
I already know,
God's got His hand on you so,
Don't live life in fear,
Forgive and forget,
But don't forget why you're here,
Take your time and pray,
These are the words I would say.

Thanks for such a beautiful post! In the bustle of everyday life and stresses it's easy to forget that we're shaping little lives and they are learning from us and how we treat others. Really beautiful - as is that song. Thanks!

My name is Nick Tierney, with HealthTheater Networks. I just discovered your blog Heart to Heart, loved your content, and thought we might have something to contribute.

We are a top health video production company with several videos about different aspects of cardiology--all featuring real people telling the story of their personal battle with the condition. In fact, we recently filmed new powerful stories on this heart murmurs and arrhythmia.

Feel free to check out my favorite one here: http://www.healththeater.com/video/Paroxysmal_Supraventricular_Tachycardia_PSVT__Diegos_Story_id980.html?playlist_id=259

We are interested in syndicating these videos through our player to your website, for free, in exchange for the targeted visibility that exposure on your site would provide.

In addition, we recently attended the 59th Annual Mended Hearts Convention, and we are interested in growing our library of video content with more CHD stories. If of interest to you, would you be willing to share video content about your story with us?

If interested, could we please schedule a short call to explain further?

In the meantime, feel free to FOLLOW us on Twitter: @Healththeater and LIKE us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/HealthTheater/207647009259593

Thank you,

Nick
