My little gymnast

About a month ago we started Ava in gymnastics. I was going to sign her up for dance again, but she said she didn't want to do dance, she wanted to do "nastics." It is a pretty natural fit for her actually. She is constantly in motion, trying to headstands and flips and somersaults. And she is very flexible! So we started her at Tricks and she loves it!

She is in a small class with three or four other girls and each week the teacher has something different for them to try. I am impressed with how quickly and how well she performs each "skill." Her favorite part seems to be the time on the giant trampoline. It is crazy to watch her tiny self flying through the air like that! I'm glad that for now we've found something she loves and wonder how far she might go in gymnastics.

Ready to jump in the foam pit

Working the double bars (with a little help)

And the balance beam

Jumping on the trampoline~sorry it's a little blurry!

She totally looks like a natural. How fun! I'm glad she is loving it. I have an urge to jump into that huge foam pit!

Yaya loves going to The Little Gym and doing all these things. Seeing your sweet girl doing it makes me think about starting her in a class again. Thanks for the prayers last week at church. Hugs!
